Open to all students in grades 6-12, the STEM lab utilizes Jay Velocity flight simulators to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) into aviation-themed classes. For Students

Education comes alive through aviation

Algebra, physics, earth science, trigonometry, geometry, communications, and history are dense and diverse subjects. Aviation addresses them all. Once students see how these subjects can be applied, they begin to understand the relevance of their education. With flight simulation, they actually enjoy it too.

For Educators

A classroom worth replicating

Educators are welcome and encouraged to audit any of our classes. The Redbird STEM Lab provides educators with a unique, first-hand view of the latest advances in STEM education. Featuring Jay Velocity simulators and the Redbird STEM curriculum—which consists of several lessons and corresponding, preset flight missions—STEM lab classes can be replicated nationwide to draw students into STEM and aerospace. Regardless of their background, educators are able to use this blueprint for their schools.
